Summer is officially here this Friday, and although you’ve probably already been knee-deep in summer fun since Memorial Day it’s time to kick it up a notch. The folks at Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey have just the motivation to do it too, with the Summer Swarm Promotion. They’re looking for photos of the best summer moments, the type of image you post on your Facebook wall that makes all of your friends wish they were having as much fun as you. The photo above is currently the leading entry, for obvious reasons.
We’ve done a fair bit of traveling since starting this website, and experienced some truly once in a lifetime opportunities. But that doesn’t mean we can’t kick back and have a great time a little closer to home. So we started thinking back to what we did last summer, and pulled out some of our favorite photos from experiences right here in the Baltimore area. Check out the small gallery below and see if you can figure out what we did last summer :
- Baltimore Tall Ship Sailabration
- Blue Angels Show over Baltimore
- Concord Point Lighthouse – 8th Chesapeake Lighthouse we’ve visited
- Off-Roading in George Washington National Forest
- Orioles vs. Nationals at Camden Yards
- Smoking two racks of ribs
- National Zoo in Washington D.C.
- Photographed ZZ Top from the photo pit
Not bad for staying close to home, but imagine what you could experience if you were given $5,000 to plan the Ultimate Summer Trip. That’s exactly what you could win by entering the Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey Summer Swarm. They’re asking people to submit photos of their own most awesome summer moments for a chance to win the grand prize. Summer Swarm’s winning photo is partly decided by popular vote on the site, so sharing with friends is key. There are also prizes every week just for voting, as well as for simply submitting photos.
Jack Daniels Tennessee Honey is a blend of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey and honey liqueur—a little bit of honey, a whole lot of Jack. It’s a different way to enjoy Jack’s whiskey, a new flavor that retains Jack Daniel’s core. Its flexibility is why summer is the ideal time to try JDTH. It’s a superb mixer for unexpected twists on summer cocktails like a Honey Julep, a relaxed partner on lazy days as a Jack Honey Sweet Tea, and the quick way to cool off as a chilled shot or beer chaser.
Summer’s the best time of the year to try new things and experience fantastic firsts that you can’t wait to make a regular part of the season by sharing with others. Trying Jack Honey’s versatile, “something for everyone” taste is one of them. And the JDTH Summer Swarm photo contest is all about sharing the excitement of those firsts, those experiences you’re glad you didn’t miss out on.
**As always, drink responsibly this summer and of course only enjoy an adult beverage if you are above 21 years old**
